I've gotten the game for 5 days, and I've been playing it a lot, in addition to playing Animal Crossing. Both are really really fun games, but now, I'm here to talk about PxZ.
It started out really fun and easy, with maps taking half an hour to complete and enemies not being all too powerful. Then around Chapter 9 (I think), which is the exact same level as the demo level, and things start to get harder.
More than one high health unit appears on the map, and there were tons of enemies too. Not to mention, killing of one of the boss units immediately ends the chapter, which is a bad thing if the other boss unit is still very much alive (since you wanna get the most experience for your units). In fact, that was exactly what I did in the next chapter, where I had to kill the boss character and leave the other one alive due to not so effective strategic planning. But after that chapter, I got used to this and everything went rather well (for now).
I've just completed Chapter 17. A lot of people said the chapter before that (16) is one of the most annoying chapters in the game at this point due to you having to chase 4 average health units before they reach the exit, with enemies attacking and blocking your way. Fortunately, there was a full proof strategy for this chapter, and by using this strategy, I was able to kill off those enemy units in 3 turns.
Overall, the game makes me feel like the odds are against me, with the opposing army double of even triple the number of units compared to yours, but it is indeed a fair fight (even though it can be hard sometimes). I was even able to delay the death of boss units so that other lower level units could finish the boss off for more experience gain.
Anyways, I've not even reached the halfway mark of the game. So, I'll get back once I've completed it.
